The Irony of Yom Kippur and UN Speeches

Speeches

Mordecai Memo

Sep 26

Last night at sundown began the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur. On this, the Day of Atonement, Jews around the world ask forgiveness for our sins, failures, and shortcomings and look forward to God’s mercy in the coming year. For those of us who follow the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua, every day is an opportunity to remain “current” with the Creator. Through the sacrificial life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we have been forgiven and live our lives in gratitude and assurance of eternal life with God.As the headlines catch up to the Bible, politics and current events display the outworking of prophecy.

History is Repeating Itself Before Our Eyes

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, today on Yom Kippur Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran is scheduled to rail on the gathered nations. In his updated version of Adolph Hitler’s paradigm, he will engage the seemingly captive audience in his tired tirade of anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist blather. And we get to pay for it. The U. S.  houses and funds the dark shenanigans of the UN. We host the cabal of evildoers and the Jewish mayor of NYC says nothing. He is too busy counting the calories of New Yorkers to count the corpses “Ah-madman” is anticipating.God help us. We need voices to rise in protest and to stand in the face of the demands of the “religion of peace.”Do not joke about, hurl an insult to, or question the divine rights of Muslims.Oh, no.Just host a call for our own death on the holiest day for a group whose life-affirming message predates Islam by several thousand years.Just host a call for our own death on the holiest day for a group whose life-affirming message predates Islam by several thousand years.Blog first published by Zola Levitt Ministries
