Stop Comparing Your Calling to Someone Else’s

Myles Weiss

This week’s Torah portion, Korach, explores the dangers of rebellion, comparison, and misunderstanding God-given authority. Korach’s challenge against Moses and Aaron reminds us that God has a unique purpose and calling for every person—and that our value is not found in someone else’s position.

When we compare ourselves to others, we lose sight of what God has entrusted to us. Instead of measuring ourselves against people, Scripture calls us to keep our eyes on the Lord, who equips each of us to fulfill the purpose He has designed for our lives.
